Centre for coordination and development of national and international projects

   The main aim of the centre is to find alternative ways to fund the educational and scientific practices of the FA – participation in science projects on a national level, European funds and other international sources and programs.

   The centre began with a program for cooperation started by the Norwegian government focused on helping and stimulating the economic growth and sustainable development of the areas part of the priority fields in Bulgaria. The project the FA is working on aims to develop an Environmental protection program in the region of Stara Zagora. This includes the creation of systems for control and prevention of the harmful emissions in the water and air, which threaten the environment and more importantly the human health, and the development of a safe way to handle the harmful substances.

   Teams of teachers from the Faculty of Agriculture participate with four developed project proposals for research and development projects for open-call competitions by the Bulgarian Science Fund.

   On 07.07.2008 in the Faculty of Agriculture started a project from the open-call  BG051PO001/07/3.3-01 “Development of a mechanism for school and university practices”( Operational Programme "Human Resources Development”) with the topic “Student practices in the reality of agricultural production”. The Ministry of Education approved the project and officially ratified the Grant Agreement.
